Layout 20/25-
The first impression was: nice colors. It seems your combination of colors is really nice and you know how to combine the colors.
The form of the layout is simple and easy to the eye, which is very important for a layout. I like your layout because its not too complicated and it is smooth. It guides the visitor through your content. The layout is mostly good, the colors of the links are nice and it seems organized.
Now what you can improve is: the color of the font, make it match with the layout. And place the title of your site which I’m guessing its “The eye of the storm” (Blindside ??? say yes :P ). If you come to a site I would like to know the title.
Content 8/15-
Your site is a personal site. I don’t like the fact that you swear on your content because it may bring the wrong impression on your self. Even though in a personal site you may post things about your self, I suggest you keep the complaints about your family to yourself. This is because I believe what happens to your family is family business and you should post only about yourself.
It seems you have some personal problems and I agree you should let it out when your feeling blue, but do you really want visitors to keep coming when all they read negative posts.
What makes a good blog is how you manage the events of your life and write them down. I would personally love to come back to a blog that describes interesting lives and that shows things to people. For example, I know your strong, so why don’t you teach others how to be strong too?
Do I like you? 5/10- Yes I like you. It is a very nice, easy going site. Your text formatting is nice and I appreciate the chances you take when you write your content. I suggest you start thinking about how to post and what to say. Diaries are for writing everything, public Diaries are for people to read and learn about you. You wouldn’t want people thinking you are something that your not.
Impressive Factor 15/20- you impressed me because I saw you are Valid Xhtml, and plus your layout is really organized by divs. I like organization and I like the way your coding flows from Css to the content. Your site is smooth, plus your layout. It is well organized, which gives you more points ^^.
Correct Punctuation 4/5- The only fault I found was that IM has an apostrophe. I’m. ^^
Originality 8/15- I would say your layout is somewhat original. It still lacks a little bit of much more details. Your site is a blog site, and it is ok. Yet since a blog will always be a blog, try to make your layout a bit more original ( take a funny or interesting quote and place it). Because honestly placing a lot of asterisks is not very original. Yet if you take something like an original picture and blend it in, I’m sure it’s going to shine.
You pick 10/10- Since you didn’t really pick anything, I think I’d pick This entry because the fact that you wrote a poem that is sarcastic in a very sentimental kind of way, I love it. That is what I want to see if I come back to your site. More of you, and not about others.
